US virtual book tour itinerary

As you may know, I was supposed to be doing a huge US book tour right now. The trip will happen one day, but I don’t know when.

So let’s not sit around twiddling our thumbs, let’s do a virtual version while we wait. A lively Q&A, a little reading, and I might just dangle my laptop over the balcony to show the Eiffel Tower.

Most of these chats will be hosted by chapters of the language school Alliance Francaise. I’ve already done one with them in Boston via Zoom and it worked a treat, so let’s do more.

Seattle: Sunday May 10th, 11am

FULLY BOOKED! This talk will be moderated by the wonderful Vero from French Girl In Seattle. Who better!? She’ll inject a lot of Seattle and a lovely French accent, while grilling me about the book.

Today we were gonna fly to the USA for a huge book tour from Seattle to Miami. I was excited about it. Hugely excited. I even bought this vintage USA jacket for the trip and hung it in my wardrobe with pride. Obviously the flight was cancelled. But the adventure wasn’t “cancelled” – it was postponed. To all you guys who were meant to be in Paris now, I know how you feel. But don’t worry. We will all meet soon and share warm croissants and good stories. In the mean time, I’ll be on my balcony, in my jacket, listening to Bruce Springsteen, and hoping you guys get my book online despite it all. Let’s stay positive and look forward to Better Days.
