We went on tour!!!
That’s right, this time we brought Paris to your very doorstep. Following the announcement of our latest children’s book, Grace the Giraffe, we took to Australia for our very first international book tour. So, with Kylie the Crocodile and Roger the Liger neatly packed in our cases, we began in Tasmania. Here’s what happened.
For the whole month of October 2022, Lina and I travelled the east coast of Australia and held events to discuss everything Paris, host book readings and most importantly… met listeners, readers, and Francophiles.

5th October Hobart – Preachers
At Preachers Bar we met listeners including 86-year-old Adrienne, who is the channel’s self-proclaimed oldest listener!!
Tuesday 11th October: Brisbane – Alliance Francaise
At Brisbane’s Alliance Francaise we had French wine and cheese while meeting AF members and talking children’s books.
Sunday 16th October: Newcastle – Honeysuckle Hotel
A casual Earful meet-up at Newcastle’s Honeysuckle Hotel saw a surprising number of longtime Earful fans.
Tuesday 18th October: Sydney – Four Frogs Randwick
We had the room upstairs for an evening of crepes and children’s books.
Thursday 20th October: Sydney – Four Frogs Mosman
We had a table in the back corner for a fun and casual meet and greet.
Friday 28th October: Melbourne – Windsor Hotel
Due to unexpected and overwhelming demand, we upgraded our Melbourne show for Friday night and hosted it inside the Windsor Hotel, a beautiful heritage building that is simply stunning and perfect for a book launch. 60 people showed up!
Saturday 29th October: Geelong – Le Festival Francais
We shared our Paris experiences at a special sold-out presentation at the Festival Francais. A full house to end the tour!
