List of Christmas markets in Paris

1. Notre-Dame Christmas market – Square René Viviani
Just across from Notre-Dame is this charming Christmas market with high quality artisan craft stalls and French-produced foods. You can find hot raclette sandwiches in one stall and thick chewy nougat in another, and that backdrop is worth the visit alone.

Times: From 10am to 8pm during the week and until 9pm on the weekend.

2. The Magic of Christmas – Tuileries garden
In the gardens next to the Louvre you’ll find the biggest Christmas market in Paris. It’s more of a mix between a Christmas market and a carnival with its ferris wheel and themed rides but you can also find plenty of Christmas stalls with hot mulled wine and French food delights.
Dates: 19 November 2022 to 8 January 2023

3. Montmartre Christmas market – Place des Abbesses
This smaller Christmas market brings in local artists and designers to showcase their creations alongside the more traditional stalls. Here you’ll weave in between stalls selling polish pottery, leather jackets and fine jewellery.

5. Saint-Germain-des-Pres Christmas market
The street that lines the famous Saint-German-des-Prés church is covered with Christmas chalets selling products on the more luxurious side of things. Just down from Les Deux Magots you’ll find chalets with hand crafted wooden items, truffle specialties and fresh oysters.

Great episode and lots of fun:) The old town of Colmar feels like Christmas all year around! If you ever get there, take a taxi (or little red scooter) to Eguisheim. It’s a gorgeous non touristy village set out in a concentric pattern.
