Annecy: The most beautiful town in France

This week we crossed the French Alps by scooter and visited lovely, stunning, beautiful Annecy.

With its clear-watered canals, its Alpine backdrop, and the charm of its old town – it took us just five minutes to realize it was worth an extra night.

This week’s episode features an in-depth discussion about the town, plus an insight on how we conquered the French Alps on the scooter at 10km an hour.

  1. We spent 2 nights there in early September, absolutely breathtaking. Make sure you are there on a Saturday for the street market. It’s also on one day during the week, maybe a Thursday? Brilliant!

    1. Well in that case, you’re welcome for the personal comment. I’ve heard of you and your book before, keep up the good work and let me know next time you make it to Paris.
