How to say ‘I love you’ in French

On this bonus podcast episode it’s my favourite language teacher, Camille from French Today.

We recorded it for Valentine’s Day and took the opportunity to discuss all the language you need to impress someone in French when it comes to matters of love.

It’s a lot more than just I love you, of course, but that seemed like a pretty fitting title for this blog post.

In the podcast episode we cover: Love nicknames, how to tell someone you love them (and how to get it wrong), and exactly how to pronounce La Tour Eiffel in French, which I very clearly cannot do. You can listen by hitting play below, or go and find it wherever you get your podcasts.

If you’re unsure of the spelling of any of these words and phrases, then here are links to Camille’s site French Today where she has covered it much better than I ever could:

Love nicknames are here, a look at French dating is here, and Camille’s own guide to Valentine’s Day is here.

If you want to learn French with Camille’s method, find the audiobooks here.

Lastly, have you seen my live YouTube videos? Find out more about them here and subscribe on YouTube here.
