Meet the contestants: The 2024 Paris Bucket List team

We published our 2024 Paris Bucket list this week. It’s our annual tradition to give ourselves new things to do in this city, but also to help YOU find things to do too.

And judging by the social media response, many of the activities were new for many of you. That’s the whole point with a bucket list. Great!

A quick reminder: these aren’t 35 new things in Paris. Rather, they’re 35 activities that the Earful Tower Team members want to tick off their own lists.

Lina the Loyal

Lina is the occasional co-host of the show and the illustrator of the children’s books. Here is Lina’s Paris 2024 bucket list:

4. Frolic at the Jardin d’Acclimatation

Hannah the Hero

Hannah is one of our Earful Tower tour guides, she shows guests around Montmartre on Friday afternoons each week (book a tour here). Here’s her 2024 Paris bucket list:

1. Get ice cream from Glaces Glazed
2. See a movie at Le Grand Rex
3. Watch a show at the Comédie Française
4. Swim at the Piscine Molitor
5. Attend a show during Paris Fashion Week

Augusta the Ambitious

Augusta is the Earful Tower photographer (see some of her exceptional photos here). This is Augusta’s 2024 Paris bucket list:

1. Float through the canal locks
2. See classical music at the Saint Chapelle
3. Reach the top floor of the Eiffel Tower
4. See ballet at the Palais Garnier
5. Flea shopping at les Puces de Saint-Ouen

Amber the Ambitious

Amber is the Earful Tower Louvre guide and a familiar voice on the podcast. Here is Amber’s 2024 Paris bucket list – an ambitious one at that with one item outside the city limits.

1. Snap the space invader on the Eiffel tower. 
2. See the Panthéon’s panoramic view
3. Visit the Montparnasse Cemetery
4. Take a cooking class to learn the secret of French sauces 
5. Go to Louvre Lens

Pres the Passionate

Pres is the Earful Tower musician, he’s been creating music for the podcast since 2022.

1. Dine at the Train Bleu
2. Play pétanque in a park
3. Listen to live manouche jazz
4. Visit the Chopin museum
5. Draw Place des Vosges

Charlotte the Conqueror

Charlotte is the Earful Tower’s behind-the-scenes expert, who leads walking tours and contributes to this very Earful Tower website. Here is Charlotte’s 2024 Paris bucket list:

2. See Notre Dame in virtual reality
3. Spectate the 2024 Paris Olympics
