Renovating a chateau in the French countryside

The holidays are here – and that means it’s time for a holiday episode.

Today’s guest, Julie Huh, lives in a beautiful chateau in the Mayenne department to the west of Paris.

Julie, who is originally from Korea, has spent the past few years renovating her beautiful manor. And as you can imagine, this has come with numerous challenges. Like, for instance, when the bathroom fell through the kitchen ceiling.

If I’m honest I have to tell you I still read fairy-tales and I like best of all. Visited a friend who live like a Princess from a fairy tale. I visited when she started building her second home in countryside of Korea. My recent visit to her house was a pleasant surprise. Everything is so beautiful. Once my mirror in France now live in her beautiful home in Korea. Bonjour from french countryside. I’ve been missing in action for a while as I was under the weather with a bad toothache. Many trips to the dentist is no fun. Still on antibiotics & painkiller for already 8th days.😩😩but life goes on. I put up simple Christmas tree today. 🇫🇷Nothing special recycled from what I had in the house.
